What are you trying to get authorization for? Medical Knowledge, proficient enough to be a medical lead.
What character is this authorization for? Dylan Tremblay
What will this contribute to the server? Recovery/Stitch RP! I'm pretty good at doing that, and not just "/me gives medkit". Going in-depth (To a certain degree. I try to avoid wall-o-texts just to put on a Band-Aid) with medical treatments and treating wounds sustained through IC means. It's an integral part of roleplaying, especially when it revolves around armed conflict.
Proof Of Concept: Two soldiers carried a stretcher into the field hospital. Inside, Dylan looked up as they lowered the stretcher onto one of the cots. The man that was carried in would lean up on his elbows, looking worriedly at his leg. Already given a shot of morphine by a field medic, he couldn't really feel the cold sensation that the tourniquet on his leg caused. Dylan quickly stepped over assessed the man, looking at his leg first. The material of his pants around his shin was completely soaked in blood, which was wrapped several times in bandages and gauze. The bandages themselves were also soaked red. She looked back up at the man's face, on his forehead was the time written in his own blood that the tourniquet was put on. She looked at her watch, then breathed a faint sigh of relief. It had only been a few minutes ago. She put on a pair of latex gloves, then set to work. Starting off by having one of the other men to be ready to hold his upper torso should the patient start to go into shock. She then began to unravel the numerous bandages that were put on in a failed attempt to stop the wound from bleeding. Upon taking off the bandages, she wiped the wound a few times to gain a better look at it. The man's back shin had a golf-ball sized chunk removed from it, most likely from a large projectile of some sorts. She took an antiseptic and local anesthetic paste, and rubbed it over and into the wound, sanitizing and eventually numbing the pain even more. Even under the affects of morphine, the burning feeling caused the patient to jump and squirm, as one of the men quickly held him still, and tried to calm him down. Dylan then wiped the excess off, and unpackaged a square piece of gauze that contained a hemostatic agent, placing it directly onto the wound. She then took a few more thick bandages, and firmly placed them against the wound. Afterwards, she wrapped it fairly tightly with several rounds of gauze, tying it off tightly, but not tight enough to stop blood flow. She then elevated the man's leg, and slowly un-tightened the tourniquet that was below his knee. Eventually, after a few minutes of carefully untightening the restrictive device, she took it off, and lowered is leg back down. She sighed, wiping her forehead with the sleeve of her forearm, and kept a keen eye on the bandages for several minutes, just to make sure that the bleeding had fully stopped.
